About
The Research and Funding Theme of GREAAT is interested in improving and widening access to accessibility research. There are many barriers to getting started and overheads with maintaining accessibility research – especially in austere times, or as the only accessibility researcher in a lab. Our mission is to map the challenges of this space and provide resources and community support.

Accessibility research is increasingly in the sights of governments looking to cut research funding, yet is more important than ever. How can accessibility research navigate this environment? We run a workshop at the BritCHI 2025 conference to explore this challenge. You can read more about this in our workshop paper.
