This special session brought together accessibility researchers in Canada to respond to shared challenges through collective reflection, knowledge‑sharing, and collaboration. The session combined a moderated fireside conversation and facilitated small‑group discussions to share experiences and identify concrete next steps, including opportunities for collaboration, shared infrastructure or practices, and joint funding proposals. Many faculty working on digital accessibility are either the only faculty member, or one of a few at their university doing so. At the ASSETS 2024 conference, GREAAT organized a dinner to bring researchers together to discuss the GREAAT effort, getting involved, and meeting those involved.
